The benefits of BIM can only truly be discovered when collaborating with other disciplines on a project which is why collaborative working is paramount. BIM is a tool to enable collaborative working.  Our third BIM lesson from the Meadow Road housing project focuses on Lonely BIM.  Often the use of BIM in-house is consider “BIM experience” yet it is called Lonely BIM because you are not collaborating with others.
