In the run up to the Government’s mandate that all centrally procured construction projects should utilise Building Information Modelling (BIM) by 4th April 2016, we will be publishing 50 BIM Lessons. Starting Thursday 26th November until mid May we will publish our lessons learned each week from our Meadow Road housing project.
Our ongoing aim is to consistently deliver projects on time and budget. In partnership with Clearbox and Worthing Homes we were awarded a grant from Innovate UK to research the changes in dynamics and behaviours of using BIM. We took on the role of BIM Information Manager on a 12-unit housing project in Meadow Road for Worthing Homes. The project is due to complete at the end of 2015.
Embarking on Building Information Modelling has been a great journey of discovery for us. As an organisation, Clarkson Alliance strives to deliver projects efficiently and to continually evolve with new technologies and research.
