Construction begins at Braywick Leisure Centre

Construction is now officially underway at Braywick Leisure Centre, Maidenhead. The first stage of the build includes work to create additional parking spaces for residents to use from early 2019. Over the coming months foundations will be dug and drains and utility supplies installed. A time lapse camera is being installed on site so we hope to be able to provide regular updates as construction progresses. The centre is due for completion in mid-2020. Braywick Leisure Centre plans submitted

This week, the planning application for Braywick Leisure Centre was formally validated by the council’s planning department, representing an important step forward for the project’s progress.  Clarkson Alliance are providing Development, Project and Cost Management Services on the project. It contains full details of the proposed £32 million facility which the council is building to provide residents with a community space to enjoy sport, art and cultural events for years to come. Cllr Samantha Rayner, cabinet member for culture and communities, said: “This is a great milestone on the journey towards opening Braywick Leisure Centre as a venue for all. Building a borough for everyone means providing residents with all the infrastructure and facilities they will need and investing in this state-of-the-art leisure centre is an important part of our wider strategy to match the emerging Borough Local Plan.” The centre is due to open to users by December 2019, pending planning permission. Clarkson Alliance are delighted to be acting as Development Managers for a new leisure project at Braywick Park, Maidenhead. The designs for the centre have now been unveiled, providing residents with an early glimpse of what they can expect to see at the state-of-the-art new leisure centre which – subject to planning – is scheduled to open in 2019. The new centre will replace the existing Magnet Leisure Centre in Maidenhead and is expected to provide energy savings of 70%. Key facilities at Braywick Leisure Centre will include: 10-lane, 25m swimming pool Training pool and splash area 200-station gym and a separate health suite Two dance studios and a spinning studio Six outdoor netball / tennis courts and four squash courts 80-seat café with views of the pool Nursery and soft play area Improved accessibility for disabled users and sports teams 500 parking spaces 40m x 60m floodlit all weather 3G pitch The proposals for the new Braywick Leisure Centre will provide a space for everyone to enjoy high-quality sports, leisure, arts and cultural events indoors and outdoors. New visuals released of luxury Czech development

Clarkson Alliance is acting as Development Manager at a unique residential community, Oaks. Oaks is situated outside the city of Prague, and lies in the heart of beautiful natural surroundings, whilst also providing easy access to both the airport and the city centre. We can now share a selection of new visuals from the project, which showcase the luxury development, that will include over 200 private homes and apartments, an 18-hole PGA golf course, country club, hotel, spa, shops, restaurants and a range of leisure facilities. Planning permits have been granted for the majority of Phase 1 construction which will include 71 residential units and much of the village centre. This phase is due to be completed in early 2019.
