Sacrewell Farm opened to the public on Saturday 18th July with a newly restored Water Mill and Mill House. The heritage project has received support from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the £1.4million refurbishment has been a collaborative effort between William Scott Abbot Trust, Purcell Architects, Messenger Construction and Clarkson Alliance.

A time lapse video shows the project developing over the last 20 months, which completed on time recently.

The internal Mill House has been decorated with many original artefacts and items of clothing found on site so it is sympathetic to the original building. As well as a new Centre of Milling Excellence there will be interactive educational displays teaching visitors about life as an 18th Century miller.
