As project managers, clients expect us to deliver under time, cost and quality constraints. Around 5 years ago, Clarkson Alliance decided to look at how we could affect those factors and encourage the successful delivery of projects, realising that process alone can’t secure certainty of outcome.

More often than not, people are the most unpredictable element of a project with many external influences affecting their priorities. Our objective has been to delve into how we can work with individuals and attain engagement on the projects we collaborate on.

Collaboration is the focus of the Be2Camp event in Didcot, Oxfordshire on Tuesday 13th October. Po Yung from Clarkson Alliance will be discussing how we work with project teams and engender a collaborative approach.

The annual Be2Camp event explores web technologies and new ideas entering the built environment.

Come along if you are interested in understanding how to manage projects from a people perspective. Other topics explored include collaborative working, how to collaborate with the public, and how psychological and behavioural aspects affect the design process.
